CORNERSTONE FAMILY EMPOWERMENT MINISTRIES

CFEM.png

CFEM seeks to raise awareness of the need of social and spiritual transformation in our communities. More than ever, our family, the basic unit of society is threatened by the escalation of the culture of violence, addiction, terror and different types of crime.

In the midst of this prevailing culture that harms our family and community, CFEM seeks to build on the foundation of the Christian faith that would make our families safe, healthy and productive and with a strong sense of community development. Through the messages and different ministries and study opportunities featured on this site, we would like to demonstrate and promote this heartfelt desire that when we practice our Christians faith we can provide an opportunity for everyone to see the difference that the intimate and personal relationship with God will improve and change the decadent state of many families and communities.

The byline of this organization is a profound expression of its vision and mission. You are most welcome to visit our website and find an inspiration, learning opportunities and ways to partner with us in building our families and communities. May God’s peace and rich blessings be upon you each day!

MOVING ALONG WITH GOD

Transition is very challenging. We cannot avoid it. It is overwhelming at times. But what do we do in times of transition? For the followers of Christ, the best thing to do in time of transition is to move along with God. When we see this development in the light of what God is saying about us, about our life, about the plans He has for us and for the world around us we will gladly align ourselves with God’s plan. The reason is that what God is saying and inviting us to see in each season will be for our benefit.

The Bible tells us how the Tribe of Issachar stood tall among the children of Israel during the transition of kingdom leadership from Saul to David (cf. 1Chro. 12:23). It was a challenging time. “From the tribe of Issachar, there were 200 leaders of the tribe with their relatives. All these men understood the signs of the times and knew the best course for Israel to take” (1Chro. 12:32, NLT). These leaders knew what Israel should do and the best time to do it.

In the same way, we who believe in Christ and are filled by the Holy Spirit are invited to be like that of the children of Issachar to have an understanding of the times and to know what we ought to do in changing times.

For we who are indwelt by the Spirit of God has access to the Throne

Room of God.  From that standpoint, we should be able to see and

hear what is on Heaven’s Agenda and what was proper to be

done in all the exigencies of human life.

It’s time for us to change our perspective! We must break off

the limits of our past. If we have been held too

long of the things of the past we need to

look ahead and be all we can be in this

time of transition. We should not

waste or squander the moment

God is giving us. Move along

with God and you will see

His plan and purpose.
